Ant & Ness, a musical duo, met on a cruise ship in 1999. Ant was the musical director of the showband, while Ness was part of a nightclub trio. They later decided to form a duo and explore the world together, having performed throughout Australia and internationally for over 23 years. They specialise in performing music of all styles from the 1920s to the 2000s. This includes pop, rock, country, reggae, jazz, and disco.
Who are Ant & Ness?
Ant and Ness are both originally from Sydney and have extensive experience in the music industry. Ant started playing guitar and singing at the age of five and has been performing professionally since he was 14. He is also a guitar teacher and loves passing on his knowledge to anyone interested in learning the art. Ness, on the other hand, performed her first solo in front of 4,000 people when she was just eight years old. Since then, she has sung in choirs, stage shows, cruise ship cabarets, bands, and theatre productions.
As a duo, Ant & Ness are tight and talented, harmonising their voices beautifully for their audience to enjoy right up to the end of each performance. They also perform some of their original music that revolves around themes of love and owning your power. They believe that music can bring joy and positivity to people’s lives, raising consciousness in the process.
